In the absence of a “proper” post, here’s a couple of articles I wrote recently for US website Death and Taxes, via a hook-up from the most excellent Doug Wallen – a piece about the fact that the best solution that the Louisiana legislature can offer to the oil spill is, um, a day of prayer, and also a belated preview of the Danger Mouse / Mark Linkous / David Lynch record (which is finally getting a release after a year of record company shiznit). Incidentally, my life at the moment seems a quest to disprove the old adage about death and taxes. I’ve discovered: you don’t pay taxes if you don’t make any money. Yay!
